Tommy Lee looks to be prepared to take a loss on his longtime Calabasas home. The Motley Crue drummer has relisted his six bedroom/eight bathroom home for $4,599,000—the same price he tried getting earlier this year to no avail.
Billed as “the best value in Calabasas,” per marketing materials, the nearly 10,000 square foot home is set atop a hillside. A lush central atrium with natural tropic opens to the sky with a retractable roof, illuminating natural light throughout. Gathering spaces include the entertainers living and dining room, and a spacious office/library with a private terrace.
The main level master suite features large glass doors that open to the outdoor space with a private pool and spa overlooking the city views. The lower level offers a professional recording studio skillfully engineered with isolation booths and a control room. Adjacent is a home screening room and personal concession bar as well as lower level dining and wine tasting quarters.
Lee bought the property back in 2007 for $5.85 million, which means if he gets asking price, the drummer will be taking a loss on the sale.
Emil Hartoonian of The Agency once again holds the listing.
