They’re at it again. Real estate power couple Ellen DeGeneres and Ports de Rossi have picked up their fourth Montecito-area property—this time the Tuscan and Moorish-inspired estate known as Villa Tragara.
Featuring just three bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, the home offers more than 11,900 square feet of living space. Like most of DeGeneres’ properties, Villa Tragara is a design wonder, blending rich woods, tiles and industrial touches.
Walls of glass bring the 2.45 acres of idyllic outside in, offering ocean views. Gardens overflow with exotic plants, lush lawns, an olive orchard, a babbling stream and a swimming pond. For recreation, there’s a bocce court and a pickle-ball court.
Relsted earlier this year for $21,500,000, DeGeneres and de Rossi reportedly made the purchase for $20,950,000. Nancy Kogevinas of Berkshire Hathaway held the listing, while Riskin Partners Group at Village Properties repped the buyers.
