Charlie Munger may not be a big fan of cryptocurrency, but the Berkshire Hathaway vice chairman is clearly a fan of Montecito. (Who isn’t, really?) Some 30 years after developing Montecito’s oceanfront Sea Meadow community, Munger has returned to the neighborhood with an $11 million home purchase.
The French Normandy-inspired home features four bedrooms and six baths across more than 4,600 square feet of living space. Sited on a quarter-acre parcel of land just feet from the sand, the home has been meticulously renovated since it’s construction 1992, according to Dirt, boasting blonde hardwood floors, wood-beamed and cathedral ceilings and walls of glass doors.
The grounds feature landscaped gardens and fruit trees, a dining terrace, built-in BBQ and a full-size tennis court.
Berkshire Hathaway team members were naturally on both ends of the deal: Bartron Real Estate Group held the listing, while Kathleen Winter represented Munger.
