Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan’s former martial home has found a new owner—unfortunately at the expense of the one-time couple.
According to Dirt, the Hamptons-style country home sold for $5.9 million—under the $6 million asking—to Sacramento real estate developer Glen Ghomeshi, making it likely that the house will either be transformed or even torn down. The sale netted Tatum and Dewan $75,000 less than what they paid for the property in 2015.
The 4,800 square-foot home features six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, artist studio and lush backyard. Originally built in 1950, past owners have included the late Carrie Fisher and power agent Kevin Huvane.
Rayni Williams of the Beverly Hills Estates and Laura Brau of Compass were the listing agents. Jen Puz and Victoria Risko of Sotheby’s International Realty represented Ghomeshi.
