Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Flea is hearing the sweet sounds of a good real estate deal! The musician has reportedly picked up a 1948 estate—renovated in the 2000s—for $14 million. A substantial discount off the original $16.9 million asking price.
According to Dirt, the home features seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms across three levels and more than 7,300 square feet of living space. Hardwood floors and walls of glass bring in designer touches alongside a double-height living room, contemporary kitchen, dining room and home library. The entire third level of the home is reserved for the mater suite, boasting a sitting room, gym, steam shower, sauna and two rooftop decks.
Additional amenities include a state-of-the-art movie theater, an underground, climate-controlled wine room, pool, outdoor bar and recreation spaces.
Josh Altman and Matt Altman of the Altman Brothers at Douglas Elliman held the listing. Sherri Rogers and Anthony Stellini of Compass jointly repped the buyer with Arash Ehsani.
