Construction is officially underway for One Beverly Hills. The 17.5-acre property—which currently is home to the Beverly Hilton and the Waldorf Astoria—will eventually boast the two tallest towers in the city.
In addition to luxury condos, plans call for the development of a 10-story, 78-suite hotel, a private club, 8.5 acres of botanical gardens, 30,000 square feet of commercial space and lots of subterranean parking. Additionally, the aforementioned Beverly Hilton will get a renovation.
Cain International is leading on the construction front, while Aman Resorts will be the operator of the hotel, condominiums and club. Norman Foster is leading on architecture, along with Rios and Kerry Hill Architects.
The L.A. Times reports that completion of One Beverly Hills is on track for 2028.
