An iconic piece of Palm Springs real estate is back on the market—at an even bigger premium than last year! Two years after actress Suzanne Somers sold her longtime desert home for $8.5 million, the 28-acre property was listed last Spring for $12.9 million. After taking the holidays off, the home has been relisted, now asking $8.950 million.
The nearly 100-year-old seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom compound is located high above the Mesa in Palm Springs. The collection of five unique structures, with an open-air carriage, in the form of a custom funicular, carrying passengers up to the residence.
There is also a two-room chef’s kitchen with wine cellar, a lux primary suite, and an Albert Frey-designed guest house. Plus, for the entertainers among us, onsite parking for more than 20 vehicles.
The grounds themselves offer waterfalls, terraces, secret patios, an outdoor amphitheater, a lagoon-style pool, hiking trails and even more space for an additional build near the top of the property.
Scott Lyle with Compass holds the listing.
