The Hilton’s (as in Rick and Kathy) had hoped to cash-in on a Bel Air redesign project that began back in 2015. After an extensive overhaul, the couple put the now five bedroom/eight bath home on the market for a whopping $55 million in 2021. And on the market it sat…until last week.
After numerous price adjustments, the traditional designed by well-known architect Ray J. Kieffer has sold for $25 million. Nestled behind gates, the elegant home boasts a chic foyer, iving room with fireplace, decorative moldings and a large bay window, family room with full bar and built-ins.
The formal dining room flows to the cook’s kitchen, while upstairs there are three generous bedroom suites including the primary with a luxurious bath. French doors open to the entertainer’s patio that overlooks the carefully landscaped grounds leading to the pool and detached guest house.
Chaya Van Essen with Douglas Elliman and Sally Forster Jones with Compass held the listing while Laura Kalb with Hilton & Hyland repped the buyer.
