Maybe a new year will bring a buyer for Sugar Ray Leonard. The boxing legend has once again re-listed his Pacific Palisades estate—and with it, a lower asking price. Originally listed for $51.995 million nearly three years ago, the boxing legend relisted last year at $46.5 million, followed by a repricing at $45 million.
Now, Leonard has new representation and a new, lower asking price of $39.995 million.
The 16,700 square-foot home, designed after a Florentine villa, boasts eight bedrooms, 15 bathrooms (formerly marked as seven bedrooms and 12 baths), plus a two-story family room, formal dining room, a screening room and a solarium. Additional property features include a full guest house, lit tennis court with viewing area, pool, grass meadow/lawn and putting green.
Built in 1952, the home was designed by world-renowned architect Richard Landry. Sitting on more than 1.7 acres, the property is on one of the largest lots in the Riviera.
The estate consists of approximately 17,000 square feet of palatial living. The main home includes elaborate details and finishes with European imported stone, coffered and vaulted beamed ceilings, and rare biblical stone from Jerusalem.
Rayni Williams and Branden Williams with the Beverly Hills Estates now hold the listing.
