Imagine Dragons Frontman Dan Reynolds Sells Malibu Retreat

Already the holder of many a hit song as the frontman of Imagine Dragons, Dan Reynolds is now also the holder of a big Malibu sale. The singer has offloaded his Malibu retreat for a reported $16.7 million—way above the $11.250 million he paid for the property in 2020.

The Brand Beach home features five bedrooms and five baths across 5,413 square feet of Balinese-inspired living space. Once past the gated entry and courtyard, an exquisite mix of materials sing in perfect harmony as a dramatic staircase & double height ceiling open to sea, sun and whitewater views. 

A living room with a fireplace leads to a formal dining room and chef’s kitchen, as large expanses of glass provide a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. A stone patio and covered outdoor space with a fireplace and built-in BBQ provide the perfect venue for entertainment, 

The primary bed naturally is home to a spa-inspired bath, boasting onyx surfaces and a large wardrobe closet. As a bonus, there is a two-room guest suite with a full bath located above a three-car garage.

Reynolds, of course, isn’t the only celebrity connection to the property. Actors Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell famously called the beach house their vacation getaway for many years before selling in 2013 for $9.5 million.
