While she may not be on TV every day, Ellen DeGeneres has apparently been keeping busy with her side hustle—flipping ultra-lux estates. Her latest project, Pompeiian Court, has just been listed for a staggering $46.5 million.
More impressive than the asking price, though, is the potential profit DeGeneres and her wife, Porta de Rossi, stand to make on the sale. After purchasing the home for $22.5 million in June 2023, the pair gave the property a refresh and are now looking to double down on their investment.
The iconic 1919, eight-acre Montecito estate has emerged from an incredible renovation, per marketing materials. In all, the residence, grounds and four additional structures (two guesthouses, a poolside cabana and an art studio) are said to offer a series of experiences with spaces that stand on their own yet seamlessly meld into a cohesive lifestyle unlike any other.
A total of five bedrooms and seven-and-a-half baths are spread across the estate. The grounds boast ancient olive trees and a chardonnay vineyard, along with plenty of private outdoor space. All rooms open to a central courtyard, warmed by an outdoor fireplace.
Robert Riskin with Riskin Partners Group holds the listing.
