When one multi-million dollar beach house just won’t do, what else can you do but wait for the home next door to hit the market? Just ask Friends and Grace & Frankie creator Marta Kauffman, who closed on her second Carbon Beach home—expanding her spread to 1.3 acres of land and more than 7,000 square feet of living space.
The picturesque Cape Cod with 90 feet of beach frontage sold for $23.6 million. The sale includes a four-bedroom main house, one-bedroom guest house, plus an adjacent lot that contains a basketball court and sandy sitting area.
The main house features a large chef’s kitchen, dining room and family room that open out to deck, TV den, large oceanfront primary suite with sitting area and expansive terrace. A large wraparound entertaining deck with spa looks out onto the Pacific Ocean.
Additional spaces include a fire pit adjacent to deck and lounge area atop the dunes, patio and front lawn with surrounding rose gardens.
Kauffman’s new home is right next door to a $16 million house she’s owned since 2006.
Arielle Passy Attanasio with Sotheby’s International Realty held the listing while Ellen Francisco with Coldwell Banker Realty repped the buyer.
