With a world tour about to begin, Madonna may have checked off a big item on her to-do list: sell house!
TMZ is reporting that the icon finally found a buyer for her Hidden Hills mansion after a year on the market. Madonna purchased the home in April 2021, only to list it nearly a year to the day later for $25,995,000. Now, the gossip site is reporting that Madonna sold the property for $23 million.
Don’t feel too bad for the material girl for not getting her asking price, though. She still made a profit seeing as Madonna paid a bit over $19 million for the home.
The 12,500 square foot Hidden Hills mansion includes nine bedrooms and 11 bathrooms across the main and guest house. Lux amenities including a great room with an indoor/outdoor bar, an outdoor living room, formal dining room with a fireplace, glass wine cellar, chef’s kitchen, home theater, music lounge and a study. The primary suite showcases a pretty incredible ensuite, including a steam shower and stone bath.
Additionally, Madonna reportedly turned the property’s barn into a gym and dance/pilates studio during her brief stay, though not much else has changed sine the home exchanged hands.
The estate itself takes up three gated acres, boasting olive trees, grassy lawns and Redwood trees. For outdoor entertaining, there’s a zero-edge saltwater pool, 10-plus person spa, outdoor kitchen, BBQ and a full-size basketball court.
Official listing material show that the home is now off the market, but Trevor Wright of the Beverly Hills Estates and Angel Salvador with The Agency held the listing.
