Don’t stop thinking about that profit! On-again, off-again Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham has sold his La Quinta desert property for $6.6 million, some $2,875,000 more than he paid for the home in 2020.
The Hideaway estate boasts four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths including a casita. A waterfall walkway leads to the glass door entry and a private courtyard with custom fountain, lounging area, loggia with fireplace and media. The home was designed for the best in indoor/outdoor entertaining with virtually all main rooms opening with walls of glass from front to back.
Lux amenities can be found throughout, including a coffee and beverage bar, double island gourmet kitchen with Calcutta marble, top-of-the-line stainless appliances and walk-in pantry. Adjacent is a formal dining room with linear fireplace and a glass display walk-in wine room.
The primary retreat hosts a sitting area with golf course and pool views. A dining and lounging loggia and a second entertainment loggia with media overlook the resort-like pool with waterfall wall and zero edge spa. BBQ center, custom fire pit with seating area and the most incredible west facing mountain views located on the fifth hole of the Pete Dye course.
And while the buyer did get themselves a pretty sweet desert pad, they did have to shell out some extra dough as the Hideaway membership was separate and mandatory with sale.
Valery Neuman of Compass represented the buyer and seller in the deal.
