Habitat For Humanity is continuing to extend its development arm in the Long Beach area with news that org has plans for new townhomes on three vacant lots.
The City of Long Beach announced the partnership, highlighting plans to redevelop a property at 225-227 E. 15th Street and 1510 Palmer Court with eight two-story townhomes, all of which would be sold to low-income, first-time homebuyers. According to Urbanize, plans call for a mix of three- and four-bedroom floor plans, each with two-car garages and private yards.
Construction is expected to begin in 2024.
