Former Dodgers owner Frank McCourt has submitted plans to the city of L.A. for two residential developments near a site that’s all-too familiar—Dodger Stadium.
According to Urbanize, entities affiliated with McCourt Partners submitted plans to the city seeking approvals to build housing on two vacant site along Stadium Way. The first would consist of two eight-story buildings featuring a combined total of 267 studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments. The plans also call for subterranean parking for 133 vehicles.
The second build would be a smaller six-story structure featuring 65 apartments with a mix of studio, one-, and two-bedrooms and parking for 32 vehicles. This site is another vacant lot across the street from the aforementioned property.
Both apartment buildings are being designed by KFA Architecture.
Combined with McCourt’s earlier neighboring project, the former Dodgers owner is planning more than 500 apartments at sites flanking the 110 freeway.
