It may be a far cry from the original asking price of $87.5 million, but actor Mark Wahlberg has found a buyer for a Beverly Park estate to the tune of $55 million.
Located in what many regard as the most exclusive gated community on the West Coast, the 6.2-acre estate features 12 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms across some 30,500 square feet of living space.
Designed by Richard Landry, the mansion includes a spectacular two-story entry, two-story paneled library, home theater, wine cellar, formal living and dining rooms, informal family room, eat-in kitchen, breakfast nook, large gym and home bar/lounge.
The grounds aren’t too shabby, either. Aside from gardens and huge lawns, there’s also a five-hole golf course, tennis court, grotto pool, and a skate park.
Wahlberg first listed the palatial home last April for $87.5 million before lowering the price in December to $79.5 million.
Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency and Carl Gambino of Compass held the listing, while Ginger Glass, also of Compass, repped the buyer.
