Actress Alexandra Daddario and her producer husband, Andrew Form, managed to squeeze a nice profit out of a short stay in L.A.’s Hancock Park. The couple have sold their 1927 Mediterranean after a little more than a year ownership for $7,675,000—more than $400,000 over what they paid for the property in 2021.
Featuring five bedrooms and five-and-a-half baths across more than 4,900 square feet of living space, the former residence of architect William Hefner and acclaimed interior designer Kazuko Hoshino is imbued with a distinct French influence. The main residence and its detached two-story guest house feature an array of materials including limestone, slab marble, luxurious tile, custom built-ins, and iron and glass details.
A formal foyer with limestone floor and contemporary wrought iron balustrade, provides a central opening to all public rooms, including a large living room with fireplace, formal dining room and library/office. Three bedroom suites include a primary bedroom with fireplace, walk-in closet and spacious spa-like bath with French doors overlooking towering sycamore trees and the lush rear yard.
Outside, multiple patios, gardens and a 60-foot lap pool flank the two-level guest quarters, each with bedrooms and full baths. Other notable features include a 600-bottle wine cellar.
David Offer and Ed Solorzano of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California held the listing, while Jenna Cooper of Compass repped the buyer.
