The annual RealTrends + Tom Ferry The Thousand rankings are out—and California Listings expert agents have once again dominated the industry-trusted lis! Top-performing real estate agents and teams closed an average of 241.2 transaction sides in 2021, up from 211 in 2020.
Our Malibu expert Chris Cortazzo landed in the no. 3 spot for top agents by sales volume, pulling in an impressive $1,044,000,000 in sales for 2021.
Following close behind, Dennis Chernov came in at no. 22 with $440,000,000 in sales, while Timothy Tamura ranked at no. 94 with $229,366,000.
West Hills expert agent Eric Delgado landed at no. 168 with $161,375,923.56 in 2021 sales volume.
Anthony Marguleas and his Amalfi Estates team landed in the no. 10 spot for large teams, bringing in $474,529,968 in sales.
On the mega teams list (those with 21+ licensed agents), Beverly Hills Post Office expert Ernie Carswell came in at no. 53 with more than $410 million in sales volume.
Also making the list, California Listings friends including Cindy Ambuehl, Rochelle Maize, Craig Knizek and Santiago Arana all landed among the top individual agents.
The Umansky Team out of The Agency found themselves at no. 46 in the top small teams division with $298,280,642.20 in sales volume. The Joyce Rey team came in at no. 46 in the medium teams division with $255,032,950 in sales.
Aaron Kirman’s team over at Compass landed at no. 12 for mega teams with $1,119,178,690 in sales volume for 2021. Sally Forster Jones’ team was close behind at no. 28 with more than $737 million in sales.
In terms of brokerages, Compass came in at the top, with $251,019,336,511 in 2021 sales volume thanks to 224,067 transaction sides. Realogy, HomeServices of America, eXp Realty and Redfin rounded out the brokerage top five.
