An average 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage is currently 5.39 percent, which is up 10 basis points compared to last week. The average rate for a 15-year, fixed mortgage is 4.64 percent, which is an increase of four basis points compared to a week ago.
The 5/1 adjustable-rate mortgage is down ever so slightly to an average of 3.89 percent, a two point decrease compared to last week.
The current average rate for a 30-year refinance is 5.38 percent, an increase of 16 basis points compared to one week ago. The average rate for a 15-year fixed refinance loan is currently 4.62 percent, up nine basis points compared to last week.
An average 10-year fixed refi is currently at 4.52 percent, an increase of 11 basis points over last week.
