Now that Ellen DeGeneres is officially a retired talk show host (while the show ends this week, DeGeneres actually filmed the final episode weeks ago), we assume we’re in for much more real estate news to come.
Easily the most covered celebrity real estate power players on CaliforniaListings.com, DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, are once again making moves in Montecito. While the couple currently own at least four properties in the area, Dirt is reporting that the pair picked up a pair of properties in two separate off-market deals.
Records reveal the couple paid a total of $13.5 million for the two homes, including a $5.4 million for a 1915 cottage (seen above). That property features two bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms across 1,910 square feet.
The remaining funds were dropped on a 1920s Spanish Revival (above), featuring three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and some 3,118 square feet.
