The Agency is making big moves and big news at the California Listings Power Players Showcase today.
During today’s keynote conversation, CEO Mauricio Umansky announced The Agency had just acquired Triplemint.
Founded in 2013, Triplemint is a software-powered real estate brokerage that makes it easier for people to buy, sell and rent apartments. Triplemint’s mission is delivering a smarter, simpler, and more personalized real estate experience to people everywhere.
“This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, Umansky noted during the Power Players Showcase. “It took over nine months to accomplish this mission. And here I thought it was hard to sell a house!”
In his first acquisition as a CEO, Umansky noted The Agency had looked at other acquisitions prior but ultimately backed out due to cultural fits.
The Agency reportedly amassed $35 million to spend on growth, upping its valuation to $350 million.
