In the market for a London vacation home? California Listings expert Mick Partridge and his team have an off-market listing that is truly one-of-a-kind with an ultra-lux price tag to prove it.
Known as the Sloane House, the former 18th-century Georgian mansion, spans some 25,000 square feet over five-and-a-half levels. According to Robb Report, two of said levels are subterranean, no longer allowed in London new construction, making this home totally unique.
The home, owned by Formula One heiress Petra Ecclestone, boasts eight bedrooms and 15 bathrooms in all. Amenities include parking for up to 17, an indoor swimming pool, a spa, massage room, salon, squash court, home theater and a hammam. The home even houses Europe’s second-largest residential aquarium.
The asking price for such a rare London home? Ecclestone is said to be willing to part with the Sloane House for a cool $230 million.
Of course eagle-eyed real estate watchers may recognize Ecclestone’s name and her connection to a famous property on this side of the world. She owned the famed Spelling Manor from 2017 until 2019 when she sold it for $120 million.
Mick Partridge and Sam Palmer hold the off-market listing.
