Maybe not all press is good press…
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne and her estranged ex-husband, one-time power attorney Tom Girardi, have been trying to seller their Pasadena marital home for nearly a year now, but as the negative headlines continue, the pair can’t seem to find a buyer.
The duo first listed the 10,000 square-foot home last May for $13 million, and after an initial re-pricing at $11.5 million in June, the home was once again been given a new asking price—$8.9 million—last fall. That alone represented a 37 percent price cut.
Now, amid rumors the property is headed to foreclosure, the mansion has been officially relisted for an even lower asking price: $7.98 million.
Built in 1928 by one of Pasadena’s most revered architects, Myron Hubbard Hunt, the mansion sits on nearly two acres. According to the listing, the home features four bedrooms, five full bathrooms, four half bathrooms, a library, chapel and lush grounds.
Girardi is facing allegations he embezzled millions of dollars of settlement money meant for clients. Since the property’s initial listing, Girardi has been disbarred, and neither he or Jayne are reportedly living in the home.
Ted Clark and Heather Lillard of Compass hold the listing.
