Mortgage and refinance rates continued their rise this week, with all the popular options posting week-over-week increases.
According to CNET, the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate hit 4.48 percent, up 16 basis points from one week ago. The average rate for a 15-year, fixed mortgage is 3.70 percent, an increase of 15 basis points from last week.
A 5/1 adjustable-rate mortgage has an average rate of 4.50 percent, up 16 basis points compared to one week ago.
Turning to refinancing, the average 30-year fixed refi rate is currently 4.46 percent, an increase of 14 basis points from last week. The current average rate for 15-year refinance is 3.74 percent, up 20 basis points one week ago.
The average 10-year fixed refi rate is currently 3.66 percent, an increase of 23 basis points compared to one week ago.
