Housing market got you down? You can also consider a home on wheels!
RV’s have come a long way from the supersize tin cans on the 1970s. And while bigger is generally better, many companies have turned their focus to the finishings—and packing in the luxury amenities.
Offering some 732 square feet of interior space, Marchi Mobile’s Elemment Palazzo Superior is reinventing the RV market with a two-story wonder.
More of a mobile mansion than an old-school motorhome, the Elemment Palazzo Superior expands to include a Sky Lounge, with an automatic lift system that raises up out of the body to create a walled-in roof deck—featuring radiant floor heating. A specially developed air convection system ensures a comfortable interior temperature and prevents excess pressurization when sliding out the full-wall room extensions.
The floor plan strives for comfort, offering a 13-foot couch within reach of a bar, a wine cabinet and an icemaker. There’s an open kitchenette, a discreet bathroom and a master bedroom featuring a king-size bed, ample storage, a dressing table and a large TV. An adjoining spa area provides a private retreat and features a glazed rainfall shower.
The cab’s striking appearance is a sort of sports car/limo/submarine/spaceship hybrid, constructed with high-performance carbon fiber materials. The cockpit features a central digital instrumentation, while the panoramic, helicopter-like windshield can be darkened in two stages using an adjustable sun protection system.
The vehicle measure 45 feet end-to-end and is eight feet wide in it’s driving position. When extended, a section of the interior can expand to 16 feet wall-to-wall. And according to Robb Report, the going rate for one of these mobile mansions is a cool $3 million.
