Key mortgage and refinance options hit new highs for the year, for the week ending February 4.
According to CNET, the 30-year fixed-mortgage rate average is 3.84 percent, an increase of six basis points from one week ago. The average 15-year, fixed mortgage rate is 3.23 percent, up five basis points from the same time last week.
A 5/1 adjustable-rate mortgage stands at 3.84 percent, an increase of six basis points from one week ago.
Turning attention to refi rates, the average interest on a 30-year refinance is 3.87 percent, an increase of 12 basis points compared to last week. The current average interest rate for 15-year refi is 3.23 percent, an increase of eight basis points from one week ago.
The average 10-year fixed refinances currently is 3.25 percent, an increase of 14 basis points compared to last week.
