Key mortgage and refinance rates were again on the rise this week, continuing the trend seen since the new year began.
According to CNET, the average rate for a 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage stands at 3.67 percent, up 16 basis points from one week ago. The average rate for a 15-year, fixed mortgage is 3.02 percent, which is an increase of 19 basis points.
A 5/1 adjustable-rate mortgage currently sits at 3.68 percent, up 17 basis points compared to last week.
The current average rate for a 30-year refinance is 3.65 percent, an increase of 14 basis points from last week. The average 15-year fixed refinance rate is 2.98 percent, up 17 basis points.
The average interest rate for a 10-year refinance is 2.99 percent, an increase of 16 basis points from one week ago.
