Update: We now know the famous buyer who took Lady Gaga’s Laurel Canyon compound off her hands! According to Dirt, model Lizzy Jagger and her husband, producer Christopher Behlau, made the $6.45 million off-market purchase. (Jagger, of course, is one of Mick Jagger’s adult children.)
Earlier this fall, Lady Gaga quietly parted with her Laurel Canyon compound in an off-market deal, according to Los Angeles Magazine.
The 6,700-square-foot estate, formerly owned by experimental rock musician Frank Zappa, features a Tudor style main house boasting seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. Additionally, the property has two guest cottages, a recording studio, rehearsal space, pool and rooftop tennis court.
Gaga reportedly recorded her latest album, Chromatica, in the aforementioned studio in 2019.
Records show Gaga sold the property for $6.45 million in August to an undisclosed buyer, which proved to be profitable after originally purchasing the estate for $5.25 million in 2016.
