Actress Meg Ryan looks to have played her cards right in the Montecito real estate game. Siteline Santa Barbara is reporting that Ryan’s 2020 purchase has exchanged hands at a considerable markup after only 18 months.
Ryan bought the three bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home for $5 million in February 2020. The actress then partnered with local design firm Becker Studios to refresh the modern farmhouse, including a kitchen renovation and new window and fixture instillation.
Now that the paint has dried, Ryan reportedly flipped the house and two-acre property in an off-market sale for an impressive $13.3 million! That’s an $8.3 million profit before reno fees.
Gwen Campbell, managing director at J.P. Morgan in San Francisco, is the property’s new owner.
