Bob’s Burgers creator Loren Bouchard came out victorious in the bidding war over a famous Pasadena estate designed by Myron Hunt. According to Yahoo, Bouchard ended up paying $5.3 million for the eight bedroom, five-and-a-half bath historic home—originally listed for $4.998 million earlier this summer.
According to the listing, the home was originally built in 1911, sitting on 1.6 acres on the west bank of lower Arroyo Seco. The wood-shingled property boasts a large wood porch, interior wood paneling and intricate design details, a formal living room, dining room and library. There’s also a one-bedroom carriage house that includes a kitchenette and bathroom.
Outside is a gardener’s paradise, presenting seasonal blooms and bursts of color from every corner of the verdant grounds.
David Davidson of Compass held the listing with Rita Whitney of the Agency. David Lao of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties repped the buyer.
