The Biggest Loser’s Bob Harper may have lost a property, but he gained a hefty profit!
Harper reportedly sold his longtime Birds Street home to next-door neighbors Peter Lowy and Sandra Barros for $7.4 million, according to Dirt. Harper bought the property in 2009 for $2.9 million.
The listing, on the market less than a month, notes that the home features three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths across some 2,600 square feet of living space. Built in the mid ’60s and designed by noted architect Robert Earl, the open floorplan and floor-to-ceiling windows make the most of expansive views stretching from Downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean.
Sitting on a nearly 10,000-square-foot lot, the property includes a pool, dotted with palm trees.
Dirt reports that Low and Barros spent $25 million for two side-by-side houses immediately next door to Harper’s home in 2017. Both have since been demolished to make way for new construction across the two lots.
Jefferson Hendrick and Reza Farahan of Keller Williams held Harper’s listing. Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency represented the buyers.
