Late comedy legend Carl Reiner’s two Beverly Hills properties have sold for a combined $16.8 million. According to the L.A. Times, the side-by-side properties are currently divided, but the deal allows for the rare opportunity to redevelop the lot into a luxury compound on nearly an acre on Rodeo Drive.
Each home was listed for $10 million a piece earlier this summer, following Reiner’s death last year. The unknown buyer did manage to make a decent deal, picking up the 1930s home for $8 million and the 1920s property for $8.8 million.
The ’30s traditional—the larger of the two—features seven bedrooms and five bathrooms across 5,500 square feet of living space. The ‘20s Spanish-style has five bedrooms and three bathrooms across 3,300 square feet.
Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency handled both sides of the deal.
