A number of popular loans saw average rates increase this week, according to CNET. Here’s how financing looked by week’s end:
The average 30-year fixed mortgage interest rate is 3.04 percent, an increase of one basis point from last week. The average rate for a 15-year, fixed mortgage is 2.32 percent, flat compared to seven days ago.
A 5/1 adjustable-rate mortgage has an average rate of 3.05 percent, an increase of one basis point compared to last week.
The current average interest rate for a 30-year refinance is 3.01 percent, up two basis points from one week ago. Like the 15-year fixed rate, the 15-year fixed refinance remained unchanged at 2.30 percent.
The average rate for a 10-year fixed refinance loan is currently 2.27 percent, an increase of one basis point over last week.
