Whoever first said that property is a good investment must have been referring to west side homes.
Actress Shelley Hack, of the original Charlie’s Angels series, and her husband, director Harry Winer had their own real estate smash hit with the sale of their longtime Santa Monica home.
According to the L.A. Times, the couple have sold their craftsman for $11.43 million—or $2.58 million more than the asking price!
As if that profit weren’t enough to be excited about, it’s worth noting that the two paid just $1.6 million for the property in 1988.
The 99-year-old home is located about a mile from the beach, with five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms across 4,353 square feet. There’s also a one-bedroom guesthouse, pool and barn on the property.
