Once known as a retreat for Hollywood elite, one of architect Charles Du Bois’ “Swiss Miss” homes is set to hit the market at the end of the month, according to the O.C. Register.
The chalet-like property at 1110 Abrigo Road will be listed for $3,499,000, according to listing agent John Lewis of Keller Williams. The home officially goes live on July 29.
Featuring four bedrooms, three baths and 2,400 square feet of living space, the iconic home was completed in 1958, with renovations since. Featuring soaring 18 foot, tongue and groove ceilings and walls of glass, the home embodies indoor/outdoor living. Additional amenities include a refreshed chef’s kitchen, large outdoor entertaining space with a pool and built-in BBQ.
Marilyn Monroe, Dean Martin, Elvis and Priscilla Presley were counted among the Hollywood elite who used to retreat to the “Swiss Miss” collection of homes in the desert.
