The W.C. Fields estate — a 101-year-old Los Feliz mansion owned by the namesake comedian— has been listed for $15 million by Los Angeles Dodgers co-owner Bobby Patton.
Patton purchased the estate in 2013 for $7 million.
Spanning some 8,000 square feet, the home features four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Amenities include a wine cellar, home theatre and gym.
According to the L.A. Times, the real showstopper is the home’s solarium, a dramatic combination of copper and glass, offering views of Griffith Park. The expansive grounds and gardens surrounding the property are even rumored to have been designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
The historic residence covers two-thirds of an acre in Laughlin Park, a gated community already home to Angelina Jolie, Emma Roberts and Kristen Stewart.
Michael Maguire and Victoria Massengale of Compass hold the listing.
