If you’re in the market for property, you can take at least one Zoom meeting off your calendar as California has officially given the green light for open houses to resume.
The California Department of Public Health has updated their guidance on real estate showings and open houses effective today. Open houses are now allowed, as long as proper social distancing is followed and masks are worn. For the time being, the Property Entry Advisory and Declaration (PEAD) forms are still required.
As most counties have entered or are about to enter the yellow, or least restrictive, tier of COVID protocols, there is a recommended maximum of 50 people for indoor gatherings.
California Governor Gavin Newsom has also recently said that state mask mandates could be lifted by June 15.
