In what would rank among the largest L.A. commercial real estate developments in recent memory, Denver-based Continuum Partners have unveiled their $2 billion Arts District complex plans for city approval.
According to the L.A. Times, the developer plans to take Los Angeles Cold Storage’s 7.6 acres for a project called Fourth & Central. The cold-storage plant, which dates back to the 1890s, would be replaced with housing, offices, a hotel and shops.
Plans include a 42-story residential tower, featuring 572 condos and 949 apartments, with 216 units designated as low income.
The proposed project, which now will undergo city approval, would be Continuum’s fourth in the Arts District.
