Seems like Canadian property values are getting a boost following last year’s series finale of Schitt’s Creek. Not only is the motel where the Rose family resided for sale, but now their pre-financial ruin mansion has hit the market!
The real Toronto mansion that stood in for the factional Rose family has been listed at $15,735,119 U.S. (or $19,880,000 Canadian), and it certainly seems as though it was built with Moira in mind. The home features 14 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms and some 24,000 square feet of living space.
Dirt reports that the estate, dubbed “La Belle Maison,” (French for “The Beautiful House,”) was the brainchild of Toronto developer Van Lapoyan. A completely custom build, the entire project took more than five years to complete. It’s opulence at every turn, from grand staircases to tons of marble finishes.
And perfect for those Rose family holiday parties, the estate features a grand ballroom that can comfortably fit 150 guests.
Khoren Mardoyan of HomeLife/Vision Realty holds the listing.
