John Lautner’s 1954 Deutsch House has hit the L.A. market for $2.76 million. The two-level midcentury modern was designed early in Lautner’s career and built for his bookkeeper. Aside from iconic views (including the Hollywood sign), the home is known for it’s original built-in cabinetry by Lautner‘s favorite contractor, boatbuilder John de la Vaux.
Dwell recently featured the two bed/three bath home with a collection of beautiful portraits. Below are some of our favorites, but be sure and check out Dwell’s feature here.
The Erbe + Blackham team hold the listing.
