Vacant oceanfront land is hard to come by in SoCal, and one of Orange County’s most desirable lots has just been sold. A lot that has sat empty for decades in Dana Point has sold for $14.25 million, according to the OC Register, making it the most expensive OC oceanfront residential plot.
The quarter-acre is located in Ritz Cove, which boasts resident-only entry to Salt Creek Beach. The OC Register notes that this week’s sale comes after several years on and off the market, with a top asking price of $16.8 million, and it’s most recent listing price of $15 million—5 percent above the closing price.
