There’s new leadership at Compass out West. The brokerage has announced the appointment of Wendy Forsythe as President of California, Nevada and Hawaii. As President, she is responsible for all aspects of the company’s operations across those regions.
Forsythe joins Compass with nearly 30 years of residential real estate experience, serving most recently as Chief Strategy Officer at Fathom Holdings. Prior to this, Forsythe held senior leadership roles at HomeSmart International and Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate.
“Wendy brings strong leadership experience coupled with a deep understanding of the residential real estate industry,” says Robert Reffkin, CEO of Compass. “California, Nevada and Hawaii represent our largest market, and we are thrilled to have Wendy onboard to lead our teams and agent entrepreneurs in this key market. Her expertise and dedication to the industry and ideally suited to this important role.”
Recently Forsythe was included, along with Reffkin, on the 2023 Swanepoel Power 200 list, which ranks the most powerful and influential executives in the residential real estate
brokerage industry across North America.
”I am very excited to join the team at Compass,” says Forsythe. “California is a complex and robust market. Being a California resident for nearly a decade and active in the region’s real estate industry is a huge benefit as we navigate the current economic market. I’m looking forward to collaborating with the leadership team to drive operational excellence and continue to deliver an amazing experience for our agents.”
