The new guy in town is making a big impression when it comes to real estate. USC football’s new head coach, Lincoln Riley, has reportedly scored himself a luxury resort-style home in the posh Palos Verdes Estates for a cool $17.2 million.
The soon-to-be highest paid football coach in the country can obviously afford it—and this home isn’t afraid to be a little flashy.
The gated property—historically known as the “Roessler Estate,” and the home to the first mayor of Palos Verdes—boasts ocean and coastline views across 13,000 square feet of living space. Featuring seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, the home features 1920s Spanish architecture, reconstructed and expanded in 2006 to take advantage of today’s modern luxuries, per the listing.
Amenities include a home movie theater, tennis court, putting green, both sauna and steam rooms, seven fireplaces, a three-stop elevator, 600-bottle wine room, a natural gas powered back-up generator, a five-car garage and a detached guest house. The grounds include a pool, gardens and an expansive lawn.
Chris Adlam of Vista Sotheby’s International Realty held the listing, while Allie Joel Riley of Compass repped the buyer.
