Talk about an Old Hollywood fixture! A 90-year-old mansion once owned by Paramount Pictures, more recently home to producer Charles Fries (hence the name Fries Estate) has just been listed for a cool $24,995,000.
Beverly Hills mansions with that size of a price tag aren’t exactly hard to find, but the history and Hollywood features set this estate apart from others.
According to the listing, the Fries Estate sits on 1.2 acres, including it’s legendary pool house designed by Paul Williams. Williams, of course, is the star architect who built the Beverly Hills Hotel, as well as homes for Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.
The main home and pool house boast a combined six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half baths across 13,222 square feet of living space. The aforementioned features include a large, 500-square-foot movie theater with a 35-millimeter projection booth, wine cellar, home gym, two kitchens, and a game room.
The grounds are pretty spectacular as well. As noted in the listing, there is a swimming pool, tennis court and a garden set among dense landscaping.
Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Realty holds the listing along with David Parnes and James Harris of the Agency.
