Tiny apartments are coming to Hollywood!
Urbanize reports that the eight-story tiny apartment building near the famed Hollywood and Highland intersection has completed vertical construction, bringing 69 units that much closer to occupancy.
Developed by Seattle-based Housing Diversity Corporation, the units will boast an average of just 375 square feet of living space. Per Urbanize, at the time of groundbreaking, rents were expected to start below $2,000 per month. Eight will be set aside for extremely low-income households.
While the building won’t be offering onsite parking to tenants (ouch!), residents will have access to amenities including a rooftop deck, lounge and co-working space.
Housing Diversity Corporation is currently planning two additional micro-unit buildings in Downtown Los Angeles.
