Once home to a TV legend, the famed Merv Griffin estate has returned to the market—with an asking price of $36 million. The famed 40 acre property includes a Moroccan-themed main house, several guesthouses, equestrian facilities and tons of Hollywood lore.
Designed by noted Los Angeles interior designer Waldo Fernandez, the architecture and interior design showcase a blend of Moroccan elegance with modern California influences. There are hand-placed mosaic tiles, elaborate Moroccan chandeliers and sconces and fully restored main living space.
In all, the property boasts 13 beds and 12 baths, featuring seven distinct structures. Additional property features include a pool, lake, orchard and a six-bay garage.
Following Griffin’s death in 2007, real-estate investor Mark Majerovic purchased the property for $7 million in 2013. Since then, Majerovic has used the estate for private events and luxury vacation rentals.
