Mindy Kaling has reportedly expanded her SoCal real estate portfolio with the purchase of a Hamptons-inspired residence near the Beverly Hills Hotel. Records show the property was listed just under $17 million earlier this year, while Kaling closed at an even $15 million.
Russian insurance billionaire Sergey Sarkisov bought the home for $16.2 million in 2017 and also owns the mansion right next door.
The existing two-story structure boasts six bedrooms and six bathrooms across more than 6,000 square feet of living space. The large lot is also home to a tennis court, guest house and pool.
Beverly Hills Post Office expert Ernie Carswell held the listing along with Rita Benelian with Keller Williams Hollywood Hills. Matt Altman with Douglas Elliman repped the buyer.
