The Crescent House may have just set a San Diego-area record, but a new listing in Encinitas is coming for that title! Comprising 7,089 square feet of pure luxury spread across four levels, the waterfront spec home is asking $28.75 million, far more than the biggest sale to date, according to California Listings expert Ernie Carswell, who holds the listing.
And with four bedrooms, seven baths and direct beach access—it’s easy to see why the property could fetch such a big sale!
From the soaring two-story entry, sauna and home theatre to the abdunance of walls of glass and steel., this home is dripping in lux amenities and SoCal appeal. The highlight, though, may just be the private bluffside terrace patio.
As noted in the marketing materials, the residence was built with a Coastal Permit issued in 2008, and as such this home is not subject to the current CC&Rs from the City and California Coastal Commission. The seller, developer Peter Keserovich, purchased the lot for roughly $600,000 around 1997. Construction was completed last year to the tune of $20 million.
Carswell and his Douglas Elliman colleague, James Likens, hold the listing.
