The Sacramento skyline is about to get a lot taller with the newly revised plans for a new Downtown skyscraper.
According to the Sacramento Bee, the so-called Lot X project has grown since last city review, with developer Southern Land now proposing a 32-story high rise. Once completed, it will be the tallest residential structure in the capital city.
Sitting at the corner of Third Street and Capitol Mall, the project will include a 368 foot main building with 243 residential units, plus a five-story office tower and a seven-story parking structure, according to documents filed with the city. Additionally, the complex will include five townhomes ranging in size from 590-3,013 square feet.
Southern Land previously noted it planned to begin construction in 2023 and complete the project in 2025.
